Does Medicare cover home infusion therapy?

Medicare only covers a limited amount of services for Home Infusion; please check with our intake department to see if the services your physician is ordering will be covered by Medicare. For most patients they have a 2nd insurance coverage that will cover the Home IV service, in which case we will bill Medicare for a denial they forward the charges to your secondary insurance carrier to receive payment. All of these options can be checked before you start service with Home Solutions. Please check with our intake department to see how we can accommodate your specific situation.
Why are you sending me a bill, I have insurance?

We will forward a bill to the patient if the insurance information we have on file is incorrect and we have been unable to get in touch with you by phone.
Your Insurance Company has informed us that the balance is your co-pay and or deductible. We forward patient balances which are in the form of deductibles or co-pay amount to a patient as we have been directed to do so by your insurance company. If you feel you are getting a bill in error please give our office a call and we can discuss that matter with you or please feel free to contact your insurance company directly to ask them why you are getting a bill when you feel that your coverage states that your bills should be paid at 100%
What happens if my insurance changes?

It is the patient's responsibility to let Home Solutions know immediately if your insurance coverage changes in any way otherwise the bill becomes the patient responsibility. Most services that a patient is receiving by Home Solutions requires pre-certification so it is imperative that we know the minute your coverage changes so we can get the proper authorizations in place so that you will not be held liable for the charges.
