Pediatric Program
Home Solutions recognizes that children are not simply small adults. At every stage of
development they
have unique differences physically, emotionally and socially. Illness whether
acute or chronic, accentuates these differences. Home Solutions has developed a special
program to address the unique needs of children and their families when the need for
home
infusion therapy presents.
Beginning with a direct phone line which is available to referral sources as well as the families,
and throughout the continuum of care, our staff of dedicated professionals has been specifically
chosen because they present a background of extensive education and expertise in the care of the
pediatric patient.
Our Admissions staff is keenly aware that when a child is ill and or hospitalized, the impact on
the entire family can be significant. Our goal is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital to
home. We take pride in making this process as stress free for everyone involved including the
referral source, the family and most importantly the patient.
Our professional staff of Clinical Pharmacists with extensive knowledge of pharmacokinetics in
the pediatric patient insures that drugs are dispensed appropriately and monitored clinically to
provide a safe and effective course of therapy.
Home Solutions has selected a group of specially educated Pediatric Nurses who oversee the
program. These professionals have joined our team having past experience from specialized
pediatric institutions and possess the needed clinical skills to address the needs of this special
group of patients. They are committed to insuring that each patient and family unit is safe,
secure and confident in the knowledge that they have been appropriately educated.
This special focus, as well as the comprehensive service. Home
Solutions as a JCAHO accredited regional provider, assures our pediatric patients the highest
quality home infusion care.
